Overview
Asian Paints is seeking a Senior Executive – Mechanised Tool Servicing Technologist to manage onsite engineers, spare parts inventory, and complaint resolution. This role acts as the central point of coordination between service engineers and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient servicing, minimal downtime, and optimal customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
1. Complaint Handling & Onsite Support Coordination
- Act as the first point of contact for service engineers regarding customer complaints.
- Coordinate with onsite engineers to ensure timely complaint resolution.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and response timelines.
- Maintain control over open complaints and NPS (Net Promoter Score) metrics across regions.
2. Spare Parts Inventory & Management
- Oversee spare parts inventory for the assigned region.
- Ensure timely availability, tracking, and replenishment of spares.
- Collaborate with vendors and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with service agencies to maintain inventory at engineer level.
- Open and manage service centres to handle mechanised tool complaints.
3. Performance Monitoring & Documentation
- Track engineers’ weekly performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing for service engineers.
- Maintain documentation of service reports, common failures, and solutions.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with OEM service teams to escalate unresolved technical issues.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth movement of spares.
5. Process Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and service standards.
- Monitor KPIs for service efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Maintain and update MIS reports and dashboards for tracking performance.
6. Service Centre Expansion
- Establish service centres PAN India, including contractual meetings, spares management, revenue collection, and hygiene maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical Qualifications:
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- 4–5 years’ experience in service coordination, technical support, or after-sales role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanised tools, pneumatic systems, and servicing processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and service management tools.
Additional Requirements
- Pan India travel for service centre setup and operations.
- Hands-on experience in managing service teams and inventory.
- Ability to maintain high standards of operational hygiene and efficiency.
