Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant – IT Assurance Audit in Chennai, you will:
- Lead IT assurance modules and supervise fieldwork execution (ITGC, ITAC, SOC reviews).
- Conduct process walkthroughs, control testing, and evidence documentation.
- Manage stakeholders for walkthroughs, data requests, and clarifications.
- Review control design and operating effectiveness for high-risk areas.
- Prepare and review audit deliverables, findings, and remediation recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients on issue resolution and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior team members and support capability development.
- Contribute to audit planning, risk assessment, and quality assurance.
Required Skills & Must-Haves
- 2+ years of experience in IT audits and IT assurance.
- Hands-on ERP control testing experience (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ITGC, ITAC, SOC, and compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of audit standards (SOX, SSAE, ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead small teams and manage client deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications: CISA, CISSP, CRISC.
- Exposure to TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management).
- Experience in risk management, compliance reporting, and IT governance.
- Prior experience with SOC reports, ITGC frameworks, and ERP-based audit testing.
