Deloitte India is hiring a Senior Java Developer (Consultant – Engineering, PDI) to join its technology team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for experienced Java backend developers with expertise in Core Java, Reactive Programming (WebFlux), AWS Cloud, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities
As a Java Developer Consultant, you will:
- Core Java Development – Build reusable, scalable, and efficient backend applications.
- Reactive Programming (WebFlux) – Develop non-blocking microservices using Spring WebFlux and Project Reactor.
- AWS Cloud Engineering – Deploy and manage applications using AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) – Automate cloud provisioning and deployment.
- CI/CD Pipelines – Create and optimize pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- DevOps Practices – Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline automation and improve deployment processes.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Ensure application reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
- Collaboration – Work with QA engineers, product managers, and front-end teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
- Code Quality – Participate in peer code reviews and enforce secure, high-quality coding standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Core Java, OOP, multithreading, and backend systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Reactive Programming with WebFlux.
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB).
- Solid knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering.
- 5+ years of Java development experience, with at least 2 years in Reactive/WebFlux.
- Proven experience in AWS Cloud, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Track record of working in Agile DevOps environments.
