Key Responsibilities
Marine Operations & Tanker Management
- Supervise safe and efficient tanker operations, including scheduling, routing, and monitoring vessel performance
- Manage tanker fleet activities ensuring compliance with ADNOC policies, IMO regulations, and international maritime standards
- Lead coordination between port authorities, vessel crews, and terminal operations
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all marine operations
- Implement and monitor marine risk management practices and conduct incident investigations
- Lead marine audits and vessel inspections to ensure compliance with ADNOC and global standards
Operational Planning & Reporting
- Develop and implement marine operations plans, optimizing tanker fleet utilization and minimizing operational costs
- Prepare detailed reports on tanker movements, performance, and operational KPIs
- Collaborate with internal departments to support corporate objectives and seamless cargo delivery
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise and mentor marine operations staff and vessel crew
- Provide technical guidance on complex tanker operations and resolve operational challenges
- Foster strong communication between onshore teams and offshore vessels
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Professional Skills
- In-depth knowledge of tanker vessel operations and management
- Proficiency in fleet management systems and maritime safety software
- Strong understanding of IMO regulations and international maritime conventions
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in tanker operations, marine fleet management, or related roles
- Extensive knowledge of maritime safety, compliance, and risk assessment practices
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in English
