Key Responsibilities
Process System Design & Optimization
- Develop, review, and optimize process designs, ensuring efficient operation of gas treatment and processing systems
- Conduct process simulations and performance studies using tools such as HYSYS and Aspen Plus
- Implement solutions to improve process efficiency, reliability, and safety
Operational Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide engineering support during plant operation, identifying and solving process-related challenges
- Analyze process performance data to detect anomalies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams for process-related troubleshooting
Compliance & Safety Assurance
- Ensure process designs and operations comply with ADNOC safety and environmental standards
- Participate in hazard identification studies (HAZOP) and risk assessments
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate process safety practices
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare technical reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain accurate records of process performance, modifications, and improvement initiatives
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of process engineering principles in the oil & gas industry
- Proficiency in process simulation software: HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent
- Experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and system performance analysis
- Ability to interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and technical drawings
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience, preferably in oil & gas operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities
- Fluent in English
