Key Responsibilities
Instrumentation & Control System Maintenance
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on I-C systems including PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation
- Troubleshoot and repair control loops, sensors, transmitters, and actuators
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of instrumentation devices
Installation & Commissioning
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new I-C systems and equipment
- Support technical upgrades and system enhancements
Safety & Compliance
- Follow ADNOC Gas O&M safety protocols and industry best practices during all maintenance activities
- Conduct risk assessments prior to maintenance operations and maintain a safe working environment
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration certificates, and test reports
- Report system faults, failures, and maintenance actions using ADNOC’s asset management systems
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with engineers, operations personnel, and other technicians to ensure efficient plant performance
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and control system architecture
- Proficiency in PLC, DCS, and SCADA system maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related discipline
- Industrial certification in I&C maintenance (highly preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or industrial sector
