Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – AWS Data Engineer, you will:
- Design and develop AWS Cloud services using Terraform scripting.
- Build and deploy serverless applications using API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and Python.
- Implement and manage cloud security controls (IAM, Security Groups, NAT Gateway, NACL, S3 policies).
- Monitor and manage logs and metrics with CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and S3.
- Work with data platforms like Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, and reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Primary Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in AWS cloud implementation.
- 3+ years in Terraform scripting for AWS infrastructure.
- Strong background in API development using Python.
- Expertise in deploying API Gateway & Lambda functions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring & logging tools.
- Knowledge of cloud data engineering with Redshift, Glue, and Athena.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Secondary Skills
- Experience with Linux OS, Cron Jobs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of business function development using Python.
- Familiarity with Glue Crawlers, Glue Jobs, and data pipelines.
