Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Deployment Managers overseeing global desktop software and policy deployments.
- Prepare deployment schedules, test communications, and Change Requests in ServiceNow.
- Identify testers, define target audiences, and monitor deployment feedback and success metrics.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Service Owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments.
- Generate reports (e.g., MECM deployment status) and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Identify deployment failures and coordinate remediation with Packaging, Service Desk, and Product teams.
- Maintain knowledge of desktop deployment standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ensure deployments meet security SLAs, quality targets, and project deadlines.
Analytical & Decision-Making Responsibilities
- Deliver desktop applications while balancing business needs and quality standards.
- Apply analytical problem-solving for deployment issues, minimizing risks and delays.
- Recommend technical solutions to improve deployment efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Maintain awareness of emerging deployment tools and standards.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience leading small to medium teams in project delivery.
- Knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure engineering, and functional organizations.
- Strong project management skills – task scheduling, tracking global teams, and reporting.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, Nexthink, and ServiceNow preferred.
Supervision & Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Deployment Managers and project resources.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Coach team members on deployment processes and adherence to policies.
- Ensure compliance with workplace policies, procedures, and organizational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in deployment services or desktop engineering.
- Proven leadership experience managing global desktop deployment teams.
- Strong understanding of desktop IT infrastructure and enterprise deployment processes.
