Summary

Chevron is seeking a Core Maintenance Scheduler in Bengaluru, India to manage and optimize maintenance execution schedules for Chevron’s Refining and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in maintenance scheduling, resource planning, and operational coordination. The Core Maintenance Scheduler will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Reliability teams to ensure that routine maintenance, technical projects, and non-turnaround work are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain resource-leveled maintenance schedules, consolidating activities by craft, area, and equipment.
• Schedule opportunity maintenance efficiently and ensure fortnightly CWS delivery approved by the Production Coordinator.
• Continuously prioritize and reschedule work orders (WO backlog) based on operational requirements.
• Identify and optimize Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) for safety and efficiency.
• Utilize JDE CMMS and Prometheus/P6 for scheduling, tracking, and reporting progress.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Coordinators, Specialists, and Vendors to execute work effectively.
• Liaise with logistics and materials teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
• Understand site-specific constraints, including equipment access, production limitations, and changing manpower levels.
• Support integration of routine maintenance and technical project planning activities to optimize asset performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Maintenance Discipline and/or an experienced trade background.
• Prior maintenance scheduling experience in Refineries or LNG facilities.
• Knowledge of maintenance sequencing, resource leveling, and work prioritization.
• Proficiency in JDE CMMS, Prometheus, and Primavera P6.
• Understanding of equipment constraints, production schedules, and access requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience supporting maintenance scheduling and execution in complex processing facilities.
• Experience in non-turnaround maintenance work planning and execution.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, pressure vessels, and tank maintenance.
• Familiarity with LNG or Refinery operations is an advantage.
