Summary

Chevron is seeking an experienced Core Maintenance Planner – Electrical to join our Bengaluru, India team. This role is integral to the Maintenance and Turnaround organization within Chevron ENGINE, providing advanced electrical maintenance planning and execution support for Chevron’s Refining and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, maintenance work management, and complex facility operations, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and efficient maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fully integrated electrical job plans, including step-outs, cost estimates, and comprehensive job packages.
• Define job scope and task sequencing, including manpower loading for execution.
• Integrate planned activities into overall work schedules, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Technical, and Turnaround Core Teams.
• Interface with Operators, Contractors, and Management to ensure work completion incident-free, on time, and on budget.
• Procure materials and services via Material Requisition or Service Order processes.
• Ensure all job plans comply with facility standards and HES requirements, including lock-out/tag-out, confined space entry, and other safe work practices.
• Track field work progress against baselines and provide regular reports to management.
• Manage additional scope via formal scope growth/change management processes, integrating approved changes into execution plans.
• Support applicable planning/execution work processes for routine maintenance, centralized maintenance, and maintenance projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Maintenance discipline.
• Proven electrical trade background with deep knowledge in electrical maintenance planning.
• Strong skills in estimating, planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance work.
• Understanding of sequencing tasks for complex facility equipment, including pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and excavations.
• Knowledge and experience in Maintenance Work Management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience supporting maintenance planning and execution in complex processing facilities.
• Prior experience in refineries and/or LNG facilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, JDE, SAP, Prometheus, Primavera P6.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify solutions, develop contingency plans, and improve work processes.
