Key Responsibilities

As a Chevron OE/HSE Reporting Specialist, your key duties include:

  • Ensure accurate and consistent entry of business unit data into record systems.
  • Facilitate precise event reporting in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Conduct monthly and annual reporting to meet enterprise and BU requirements.
  • Deliver internal reporting including HSE metrics, scorecards, and benchmarking data.
  • Manage Incident Investigation & Reporting (II&R) for Asset Retirement, including action items, document storage, trend analysis, and enterprise reporting.
  • Collect activity data and estimate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, water, and oil discharges per internal protocols.
  • Maintain and update reporting methodologies and standard operating procedures to align with enterprise standards.
  • Design reports, dashboards, charts, graphs, and infographics to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Interpret Operational Excellence Data Reporting Standards (OEDRS) and ensure system records comply.
  • Manage OE data via Excel and Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to generate insights that support HSE and operational decision-making.
  • Engage with HSE and operational teams to understand requirements and deliver timely, accurate solutions.
  • Maintain HSE SharePoint and TEAMS channels to ensure information is accessible and compliant with retention policies.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced data analysis and visualization skills using Excel (PivotTables, Power Query) and Power BI.
  • Expertise in HSE reporting systems such as Cority, Sphera, and Locus.
  • Ability to manage, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Strong knowledge of incident investigation methodologies (Five Why, Why Tree) and trend analysis.
  • Proficient in designing and maintaining SharePoint and TEAMS channels.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical HSE data into business insights.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of Operational Excellence Management Systems and HSE principles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in HSE data management and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization, dashboards, and reporting tools.
