Role Overview: Senior Consultant – Oracle Retail Tech

As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Oracle Retail Practice, you’ll be responsible for delivering Oracle Retail-based solutions, including implementation, upgrades, development, and support. You will work closely with client teams, internal stakeholders, and global collaborators to modernize and streamline retail operations using Oracle Retail modules and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Retail implementation and support initiatives.
• Design, configure, and optimize retail applications like MFCS, IMCS, SACS, PCS, SIOCS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform application upgrades, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
• Provide documentation, user training, and post-go-live support.
• Participate in Agile delivery practices and contribute to innovation initiatives.

Core Skills & Technologies

• 2–10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail (MoM applications).
• Strong proficiency in:
  • SQL, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting
  • Pro*C, ADF, Apex
  • Batch processing, Oracle Retail Cloud, and Microservices (preferred)
• Functional and technical expertise in:
  • RMS (MFCS), ReIM (IMCS), ReSA (SACS), RTM, RPM (PCS), Allocations, RIB (RICS), and SIM (SIOCS)
• Ability to develop and customize solutions for performance optimization.
• Exceptional communication and client-facing presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Oracle Retail cloud-based implementations.
• Agile project delivery and DevOps exposure.
• Experience working in cross-border teams and diverse retail environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
  • Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields
  • MBA/MS (preferred but not mandatory)
