Key Responsibilities
Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity
- Lead ICS cybersecurity risk assessments and support “cold eyes” reviews and internal audits across control system environments.
- Develop, implement, and revise cybersecurity controls to ensure compliance with ExxonMobil’s Industrial Control System Requirements (ICSR) standard.
- Review ICS system architecture and design specifications; support project planning and factory acceptance testing.
- Create and update technical documentation, procedures, and training modules related to ICS cybersecurity.
- Research emerging cybersecurity technologies to continuously enhance ICS protection.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams, including Houston-based and other international site personnel.
- Ensure cost-effective risk mitigation that preserves process operations integrity.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on OT Cybersecurity experience focused on Industrial Control Systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics) with a minimum 60% score.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including IEC 62443 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Proven ability to develop and implement controls in compliance with corporate cybersecurity standards.
- Experience with industrial control system architecture, safety systems, and technical cybersecurity controls.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT/networking technologies is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident public speaker.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in Industrial Control Systems with direct OT cybersecurity exposure.
- Experience in Oil & Gas sectors (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream) supporting field operations, maintenance, or engineering.
- Skilled in data analysis using SAP, Analytics for Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
