Key Responsibilities
Safety Data Analysis & Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for Business Line (BL) safety data management and reporting.
- Collaborate with SSHE Managers and Advisors to support performance stewardship and develop key safety communications.
- Analyze incident data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities using advanced analytical techniques.
- Manage and automate routine safety reports and dashboards for Corporate SSHE stewardship processes (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual).
- Ensure data quality and perform primary data quality control (QC) in coordination with Corporate SSHE and Business Units.
- Prepare and submit benchmarking data and analyses to external industry groups (e.g., IOGP, API, COS, AFPM, GBG).
- Identify and develop new safety reporting tools and dashboards to proactively monitor SSHE indicators.
- Support SSHE advisors in Management Reviews and ad hoc data requests across the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations, safety data management, or safety analytics within an industrial or energy company.
- Strong knowledge of Injury, Illness, Occupational Health & Safety, and Incident Management aligned with OSHA and API standards.
- Proven expertise with process safety or industrial safety metrics, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency with IT systems and data tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel, SSAS cubes, Python, R, SAS, and MS-SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Spotfire.
- Excellent analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and statistical analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver data-driven insights effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and reporting.
- Familiarity with enterprise safety data collection systems like Sphera or Enablon.
- Experience in implementing process safety standards and corporate safety data reporting frameworks.
