Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development & Leadership
- Lead and collaborate with a dynamic team of developers on new and existing Wells business applications.
- Design, architect, and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions using Angular/React, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft Azure.
- Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Architects to understand and deliver on technical requirements.
- Plan, estimate, and manage development timelines to meet project goals.
- Resolve complex technical challenges while balancing hands-on coding and strategic oversight.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering professional growth and team collaboration.
Technical Collaboration & Innovation
- Engage closely with stakeholders to gather precise technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Contribute to modern application authentication and authorization strategies using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Support database design and management with SQL Server, and write efficient queries.
- Understand and apply concepts of microservices, monolithic, and serverless architectures.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant engineering fields.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience with front-end frameworks: Angular or React.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Minimum 2 years of backend development experience using ASP.NET Core and .NET.
- Experience developing cloud applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipeline setup (Azure DevOps or GitHub).
- Experience working with SQL Server databases.
- Solid understanding of system design principles including microservices and serverless architecture.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python programming and willingness to upskill.
- Familiarity with Azure resource management and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of database query languages such as Snowflake.
- Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas sector or working with geoscience applications like Petrel or RokDoc is a plus.
