Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily global freight settlement operations, including vendor invoice processing and customer billing.
- Resolve disputes and handle complex exceptions effectively to maintain operational excellence.
- Participate actively in month-end close activities such as intergroup reconciliation and finance accruals.
- Ensure compliance with agreed SLA/KPI standards and operational procedures.
- Communicate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders across the trading business.
- Adhere to trade compliance guidelines, including OFAC regulations, supporting license to operate.
- Assist in project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives within the Trading Settlements team.
- Support periodic review and update of work instructions, ensuring documentation of process changes and exceptions.
- Execute effective control operations aligned with the Trading business framework.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by business demand.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA with a Finance specialization.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable or financial settlements with subject matter expertise.
- Experience or familiarity with maritime-related processes is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with SAP platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global trading environment with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of trade compliance, finance accruals, and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to support continuous process improvements and collaborate across teams.
