Key Responsibilities

Offshore Maintenance & Safety Compliance

• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maintain offshore LNG facility performance and meet production targets.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with QatarEnergy LNG’s Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and company procedures.
• Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team during offshore facility emergencies.
• Conduct hazard identification, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Last Minute Risk Assessment (LMRA), and ensure proper Permit to Work (PTW) compliance prior to job execution.

Equipment Troubleshooting & Work Management

• Independently perform maintenance activities on remote platforms, ensuring all prerequisites such as BPO, TBT, and LMRA are in place before starting work.
• Troubleshoot operational problems using technical drawings, P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and BOM indices.
• Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance tasks in the SAP Maintenance Management System, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting.

Coordination & Quality Assurance

• Collaborate closely with discipline foremen, technicians, field operators, planners, and contractors to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Monitor and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring calibration and readiness for maintenance operations.
• Provide oversight of contract service personnel on site, guaranteeing safety and quality standards are met.
• Support project activities and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervisors.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on experience in offshore maintenance and equipment troubleshooting within the oil and gas sector.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and vendor procedures.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and SAP.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to multicultural work environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of Secondary School Education (12 years) plus a five-year vocational apprenticeship (HND) in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore oil and gas maintenance roles.
• Proven knowledge of work permit systems and safety-first operational practices in offshore environments.
