Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Civil Maintenance Engineer at ADNOC Gas, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day civil maintenance activities across infrastructure, buildings, roads, and foundations at the Habshan site.
- Planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for civil assets.
- Ensuring compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, UAE building codes, and international engineering practices.
- Conducting site inspections, condition assessments, and structural evaluations.
- Managing external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality control, work completion, and budget adherence.
- Recommending civil design improvements to enhance asset integrity and minimize risk.
- Supporting root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.
Required Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Deep understanding of civil and structural maintenance within oil, gas, or petrochemical facilities.
- Strong command of engineering standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or similar tools.
- Experience in asset integrity management, inspection techniques, and corrosion protection.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and manage contract documentation and tenders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in civil maintenance, preferably in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements and ADNOC group standards is an advantage
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); Arabic is a bonus
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
