Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager at ADNOC Gas, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading and executing large-scale oil & gas infrastructure projects from FEED through commissioning and handover
- Managing multi-disciplinary project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met
- Overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
- Ensuring full compliance with ADNOC Group’s HSE, quality, and risk management standards
- Driving effective project governance and stakeholder engagement, including executive reporting
- Mitigating risks and resolving complex project-related challenges proactively
- Supporting the development of project execution strategies, procurement plans, and resource forecasts
- Ensuring alignment with ADNOC’s long-term operational, environmental, and strategic goals
Required Skills & Competencies
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Prince2) and tools
- Strong leadership in managing cross-functional, multicultural teams in high-stakes environments
- Experience in handling EPC contracts, FEED studies, and brownfield/greenfield project execution
- Proficiency in project controls, budgeting, scheduling (Primavera/MS Project), and risk analysis
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of UAE regulations, ADNOC standards, and international codes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent)
- Master’s degree or PMP certification is an added advantage
- Minimum 10+ years of project management experience in the oil & gas or energy sector
- Proven track record in managing large-scale capital projects in upstream, midstream, or downstream environments
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus
