Key Responsibilities
As the M&A Manager at ADNOC Distribution, your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and transaction execution
- Identifying and evaluating strategic investment opportunities, partnerships, and acquisition targets aligned with ADNOC’s long-term goals
- Coordinating with legal, finance, operations, and strategy teams throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Conducting financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and investment feasibility studies
- Preparing executive presentations, board documents, and investment memorandums
- Supporting post-merger integration and synergy realization initiatives
- Collaborating with external advisors including investment banks, consultants, and legal counsel
Required Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- Proven expertise in corporate M&A, investment banking, private equity, or Big 4 transaction advisory
- Strong command of financial modeling, valuations, and deal structuring
- Strategic mindset with the ability to evaluate commercial, operational, and financial risks
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong project management ability in high-pressure deal environments
- Knowledge of Middle East markets, energy, fuel retail, or infrastructure sectors is an advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering (MBA or CFA preferred)
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in M&A, strategy, or investment-related roles
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling proficiency
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
