Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting and maintenance activities on rotary equipment including steam and gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, and single & multistage pumps.
- Perform routine and minor maintenance of static equipment across various refinery units such as Chemical Plants, Refinery 1 & 2, RFCC, Condensate Refinery, Utilities/Off-sites, Tank Farms, Berth #6, BSV3, and Station C1 at Hamad International Airport.
- Oversee repair and overhaul tasks ensuring optimal equipment performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Utilize RIS software for permit creation and maintenance documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a multinational work environment to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Leverage SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and analysis purposes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in refinery, oil & gas, or petrochemical mechanical maintenance.
- Extensive expertise in rotary and stationary mechanical equipment, including steam/gas turbines, compressors, turbo machinery, and pumps.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in SAP, RIS, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Level 5 English proficiency minimum).
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multinational team environment.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
