Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets across all phases of oil & gas projects.
- Develop and maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), Cost Breakdown Profiles (CBP), and Cost Forecasts.
- Monitor monthly Value of Work Done (VOWD), invoice payments, accruals, and conduct cost trending and variance analysis.
- Identify budget risks and areas of overspending/underspending; provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
- Conduct risk analysis related to project costs and highlight critical concerns.
- Collaborate with project teams to optimize cost control processes and implement best practices.
- Utilize SAP and advanced cost estimating software for accurate reporting and forecasting.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in cost engineering within the oil and gas sector.
- Expert in cost estimation, phasing, monitoring, forecasting, trending, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and world-class cost estimating software.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance discipline.
