Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate service providers performing jetty and stevedoring operations, including the discharge of cargo.
- Allocate port equipment efficiently to meet operational targets and deadlines.
- Collate and manage cargo and vessel documentation to support seamless logistics and port activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols for dry cargo and oil terminals.
- Collaborate with port labor teams, managing contracts and daily workforce allocation.
- Assist in planning and organizing port logistics operations to maximize productivity.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in marine industry port logistics or cargo handling.
- Competent in computer use, with practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office applications, and email communication.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage teams and coordinate between stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of cargo operations, stevedoring, and safety planning for multi-cargo port terminals.
- Familiarity with port operations contracts and experience managing port labor is a plus.
Educational Qualifications
- Completed secondary education or possession of a certified mate’s license.
