Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal support for QatarEnergy’s industrial projects, including domestic and international ventures.
- Lead legal due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation of contracts for new project opportunities.
- Assist in securing regulatory approvals and support venture set-up aligned with QatarEnergy’s strategic goals.
- Manage ongoing legal aspects of existing joint ventures and project-related activities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business development, operations, and regulatory affairs.
- Translate complex legal matters into practical advice for non-legal stakeholders.
- Liaise effectively with government agencies, regulators, and external counsel.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies throughout project lifecycles.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 10 years of legal experience in private practice or in-house, with a strong focus on project-related legal work.
- Proven experience working with regulators and government representatives in energy or industrial sectors.
- Strong ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate clear, practical advice.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills for contracts and agreements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly motivated, proactive, well-organized, and disciplined.
Educational Qualifications
