Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, manage, and maintain the MIC HSE Incident Management System for all assigned areas.
  • Ensure timely notification, reporting, recording, and investigation of all HSE incidents following Qatar Petroleum (QP) standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis for incidents and ensure effective implementation and closeout of corrective actions.
  • Publish and communicate lessons learned from all HSE incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety awareness and compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver safety reports and presentations for management.
  • Analyze safety data to identify trends and recommend proactive safety improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of professional safety experience, with at least 5 years focused on incident management in the Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical industry.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, interpret results, and present findings clearly.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE systems and incident investigation techniques.

Educational Qualifications

  • Diploma in Safety or equivalent qualification from a recognized international institution.
