Key Responsibilities
- Supervise underwater inspections, new subsea projects, maintenance, shutdown, and rig support activities.
- Coordinate contracted dive boats, dive crews, and divers to ensure safe and effective offshore operations.
- Implement and enforce strict compliance with diving safety standards, including decompression tables and risk assessments.
- Ensure all underwater work aligns with UK HSE and IMCA diving regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance during subsea project execution and offshore maintenance campaigns.
- Maintain clear communication and coordination with JV partners and QatarEnergy offshore teams.
- Oversee documentation, reporting, and quality control related to subsea operations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
- At least 4 years as a diving supervisor with operational responsibility.
- Extensive knowledge of underwater Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques.
- Certified experience as a Bell Diving supervisor with strong understanding of diving decompression tables and safe diving practices.
- Familiarity with UK HSE and IMCA diving regulations and risk assessment protocols.
- Proficient in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
- Good computer literacy for reporting and documentation purposes.
Educational Qualifications
- HND or equivalent technical qualification in a relevant field.
- Specialized certifications in Air/Saturation diving and NDT.
- Must hold a valid Air/Saturation Diving Supervisory ticket.
