Key Responsibilities
- Assist Civil Engineers in planning, implementing, supervising, and closing out capital and maintenance civil projects.
- Supervise daily civil maintenance and project activities for routine and non-routine contracts within Mesaieed Operations.
- Prepare and review daily progress reports, working schedules, and project documentation.
- Review and approve shop drawings, verify quantities, and issue necessary work permits.
- Conduct site surveys, measurements, and quantity assessments to ensure accurate project execution.
- Participate in troubleshooting and provide technical evaluation and recommendations for remedial measures.
- Assist in preparing contract work requests (CWR) and participate in developing specifications, drawings, and bill of quantities.
- Coordinate daily contractor assignments, monitor work compliance with QatarEnergy’s safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Ensure timely final handover inspections and documentation for completed projects.
- Collaborate with various QatarEnergy departments to facilitate smooth project execution and support services.
Skills & Experience
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in civil construction, maintenance, and project supervision.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or petrochemical environment.
- Strong knowledge of civil maintenance operations, quantity surveying, and contract documentation.
- Proven ability to coordinate contractors and enforce safety and quality compliance.
- Familiarity with work permit systems and site inspection protocols.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or technical institution.
