Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate integrated shutdown procedures for QatarEnergy’s upstream and downstream units, including local industries.
- Evaluate and collaborate with suppliers and consumers on various shutdown scenarios to ensure goals are met efficiently and economically.
- Oversee shutdown programs during emergency shutdowns, coordinating efforts across all relevant units and consumers.
- Provide detailed input and support to QatarEnergy’s Business Plan, corporate strategies, and planning documents.
- Coordinate preparation of Area Business Plan documents and assist in Planning Week presentations for the Transmission and Distribution Department.
- Review and provide technical inputs on gas consumer contracts, feedstock, fuel gas, and product specifications in collaboration with Legal, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Analyze and review production and export reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) for Transmission and Distribution.
- Generate performance monitoring, target, and objective reports for higher management review.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries in measurement, allocation, operations, planning, scheduling, commercial, processing, or engineering roles.
- Hands-on expertise in hydrocarbon accounting or planning and scheduling within the energy sector.
- Proficient in technical support for hydrocarbon metering systems and planning/scheduling tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Computer literate with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Competent in presentations, data analysis, and database management.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
