💼 Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance contact for Domestic GTL and Downstream asset teams, representing QatarEnergy’s financial interests.
- Lead financial management and reporting processes aligned with asset team goals.
- Oversee financial governance, including preparation and review of materials for Board, Audit Committee, and Operating Committee.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies that support asset performance and risk management.
- Utilize advanced data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and emerging technologies (AI, ML) to enhance financial insights and automate reporting.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a multicultural environment to ensure seamless finance operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in asset management financial processes to meet company standards.
🛠️ Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in strategic finance roles within energy companies or consulting firms.
- Strong knowledge of energy sector financials, IFRS standards, and governance frameworks.
- Expertise in financial modeling, economic analysis, and problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel, and financial planning tools.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies to drive automation and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage senior leaders.
- Ability to thrive in a flat organizational structure and multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification strongly preferred (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CPA) or MBA.
- Proven track record in financial analysis within the energy downstream or GTL sectors is a plus.
