⚙️ Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Process Engineer at QatarEnergy, your main duties will include:
- Leading process optimization efforts for existing oil and gas facilities to meet production targets and product quality standards.
- Supporting Management of Change (MOC) and Value Protection (VP) projects from concept through to final handover.
- Ensuring compliance with process safety requirements in both operational facilities and new project developments.
- Conducting feasibility studies, project engineering assessments, and process simulations.
- Providing technical input during concept selection, detailed design, commissioning, and start-up phases.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance plant performance and safety.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- 10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, including 8+ years in a Senior Process Engineer position.
- Proven track record in process optimization, conceptual and detailed engineering, and commissioning of oil & gas production systems.
- Strong understanding of process safety, HAZOP reviews, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with feasibility studies, debottlenecking, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent command of English – both verbal and written.

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized university.
