Key Responsibilities
🚢 Shipping Operations Oversight
- Lead day-to-day operations for containerised, liquid, gaseous, and dry cargo shipments.
- Supervise shipping teams and ensure on-time execution of monthly delivery schedules.
🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with internal departments such as Marketing, Production, and HSSE, and coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
- Monitor vendor KPIs and address any delays or service issues.
📦 Post-Shipment Management
- Handle post-shipping documentation, incident reports, customer complaints, and feedback.
- Support internal audits and participate in HSSE compliance processes.
📈 Performance Optimization & Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments and update logistics risk registers.
- Participate in freight rate negotiations, logistics tender evaluations, and contract reviews.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in shipping, supply chain, or logistics (preferably in Oil & Gas or maritime industries).
- Solid knowledge of SAP, procurement systems, and contract management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in operational planning.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
- Certifications in Shipping, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Operations are highly desirable.
