Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and control production equipment and stations in accordance with operating procedures.
- Work with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to oversee unit performance and conduct adjustments in real time.
- Maintain optimal condensate and NGL product recovery through efficient operations.
- Ensure all operations adhere to QatarEnergy’s safety and environmental standards, promoting a zero-risk work environment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and resolve anomalies promptly for uninterrupted production.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in process plant operations within oil & gas or petrochemical environments.
- At least 2 years operating experience with DCS systems.
- Proficiency in operational safety protocols and maintaining standardized production outputs.
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork ability, and systematic problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education, followed by at least 3 years of full-time technical training in process plant operations in oil & gas or petrochemicals.
- Specialized certifications or training in DCS systems and process control (preferred).
- Commitment to workplace safety, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.
