Key Responsibilities

As a Senior FullStack Developer / Lead at Halliburton, you will:

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance full-stack solutions using cloud-native technologies.
• Build and maintain responsive web applications, backend microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and fault tolerance in Kubernetes environments.
• Lead secure coding practices, triage security issues, and implement fixes to ensure cloud-ready applications.
• Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams, including product owners and QA, to deliver impactful features.
• Mentor junior developers and facilitate their technical growth while transitioning into a team leadership role.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance aligning development efforts with business goals and product vision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with Angular (v12–16+), Node.js, HTML5, CSS/SASS.
• Proven experience in optimizing performance and reducing cloud infrastructure costs for complex distributed systems deployed on Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API integration, and cloud-native system design.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as JEST, Jasmine, Cypress, and Protractor.
• Preferred familiarity with programming languages like C# or Python.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus.
