Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer – Commissioning (Gas Operations), you will:

• Lead the commissioning and start-up activities for ADNOC gas projects.
• Ensure all commissioning procedures align with ADNOC standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Supervise contractors and commissioning teams during pre-commissioning and start-up phases.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure all HSE procedures are followed rigorously.
• Generate detailed reports and maintain documentation throughout project phases.
• Interface with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to ensure asset readiness.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of gas plant commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation commissioning.
• Proficient in interpreting P&IDs, loop diagrams, and system architecture.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach to field challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in gas or oil & gas commissioning roles.
• Prior experience in Middle East gas operations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of ADNOC and UAE regulatory compliance is advantageous.
