Key Responsibilities

Data Science & Machine Learning Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI and ML models targeting data quality improvement for IoT-connected assets.
  • Implement advanced analytics solutions addressing root causes of data quality issues.
  • Drive multiple high-impact projects concurrently, independently managing medium to high-complexity initiatives.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and internal customers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Communicate complex analytical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Analytics & Visualization

  • Utilize SQL and Python to build and optimize data pipelines and machine learning workflows.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI for data visualization.
  • Apply statistical and quantitative methods to analyze structured and unstructured data.

Cloud & Data Engineering Integration

  • Leverage AWS services such as Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, and SageMaker.
  • Work with Snowflake data warehouse environments for scalable data storage and processing.
  • Integrate analytical models seamlessly with existing data infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data science, including 5+ years specifically in ML/AI model design and implementation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, NLP, Deep Learning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, develop classification/regression models, and apply unsupervised learning.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud ecosystem and data engineering tools.
  • Proficient with BI tools like Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MS or higher) in a relevant quantitative field.
  • Experience as a Lead Data Scientist or technical mentor.
  • Familiarity with standardizing diverse and non-sanitized datasets.
  • Solid understanding of data management, statistical methods, and quantitative analytics.
