Key Responsibilities
Production Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage shift production activities in the Aluminium Phase of the Engine Plant.
- Ensure daily production targets of engine components are met with optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.
- Arrange manpower according to the working pattern and coordinate to ensure smooth operations.
Quality & Process Control
- Prepare and analyze key documentation including Daily Work Management (DWM) sheets, control charts, process and inspection sheets, and machine check sheets.
- Monitor daily production targets aligned with customer requirements and takt time.
- Perform rejection analysis, apply countermeasures using SDCA & PDCA methodologies.
- Maintain documentation as per Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Drive implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and 5S activities on the shop floor.
- Calculate and analyze line efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead and motivate the team to generate suggestions, perform Kaizen events, and improve production metrics.
- Monitor tool life and analyze tool cost for operational efficiency.
Required Technical Skills
- Practitioner level knowledge of 5S, TPM, and IMS execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills using 7 QC tools.
- Basic awareness of Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing methodology.
- Working knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) module.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Mechatronics Engineering.
