🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As the Team Manager/Line Incharge for the Aluminium Phase at Hero MotoCorp, your core responsibilities include:
🔄 Production & Operations Management
- Manage shift-wise production in the Aluminium Phase to meet daily market demand.
- Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and process efficiency.
- Monitor hourly data at quality gates and provide real-time feedback on defects.
✅ Quality Control & Efficiency
- Track and analyze part rejections and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct daily audits of 3S (Sort, Set, Shine) and ensure gap closures.
- Monitor PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage in line with safety norms.
📊 Reporting & Data Management
- Update key performance indicators (KPIs) on OLE/JH/CLRI systems daily.
- Analyze operational data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
🧩 Coordination & Planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality goals.
- Execute special projects and process audits, including energy performance reviews.
🧠 Technical Skills Required
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP, PowerPoint
- Sound understanding of 5S, TPM, SPC, and TPS
- Familiarity with Energy Baseline Management and Audit Planning
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, especially in aluminium parts production
👥 Behavioral Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective task delegation and team management
- Experience with Behavior-Based Safety (BBS)
- Decision-making, planning, and interpersonal communication skills
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, ideally in the 2-wheeler industry
