About Deloitte’s Social Impact Practice
Deloitte’s Social Impact (SI) team specializes in advising corporates, governments, NGOs, and philanthropic foundations on sustainable development goals, social innovation, and transformative strategies. As a Senior Consultant – Technology and Transformation, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team leveraging Deloitte’s global consulting expertise to solve complex social challenges through innovative advisory, program design, and impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discrete workstreams within large transformation projects focused on social impact
- Conduct in-depth research to support strategy design and development of measurement frameworks
- Develop and implement MIS systems, reporting templates, and tools for monitoring and evaluation
- Collaborate with partners, managers, and client teams to deliver strategic objectives and transformation goals
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including client leadership, beneficiaries, and external partners
- Analyze data and program outcomes to validate impact and inform continuous improvement
- Prepare and present clear, insightful reports and recommendations for both internal and client audiences
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: MBA, Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Humanities, or related fields from a top-tier institution
- Experience: 6-9 years in consulting or advisory roles, preferably within development or social sectors
- Strong expertise in transformation consulting, measurement frameworks, policy analysis, and program management
- Proficient in research methodologies including primary, secondary, and market research
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to articulate complex ideas clearly
- Demonstrated leadership, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel frequently to tier-2 and tier-3 locations across India
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with a passion for driving social change
