Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business operations to identify key drivers, impacts, and opportunities within Amazon Pay’s BizOps domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and innovative measurement methodologies.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance improvements.
- Automate and streamline weekly business reporting (WBR) and ad-hoc analyses to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Conduct deep-dive data analysis including root cause analysis, correlations, regressions, and simulations to identify and solve operational gaps.
- Build and maintain data infrastructure and internal datasets for rapid, accurate business decision support.
- Support regulatory compliance by generating and automating reports to authorities like the Financial Intelligence Unit and monitoring suspicious activities.
- Continuously innovate to improve reporting automation and self-service capabilities amid evolving product features and RBI regulatory changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 1+ year experience in data analytics, business analysis, capacity planning, or operations planning.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction, pipelining, and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present complex data insights clearly and succinctly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and macros (VBA).
- Familiarity with aggregate analytical functions, table joins, and data visualization tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving regulatory requirements.
