Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions for Amazon India’s shared finance services.
- Oversee a team of approximately 15 finance professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery with accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop, implement, and improve policies and procedures to enhance operational controllership.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex escalations and financial issues.
- Serve as a consultant and project lead on finance-related initiatives supporting business growth.
- Drive recruitment, training, and career development to build and retain top talent.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma techniques for measurable process enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Minimum 2 years managing finance or operations teams.
- Proficiency with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for defect reduction.
- Strong data analysis skills to influence business decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior leadership.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
