Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts focusing on payment gateway and SWIFT-related functionalities.
- Conduct thorough functional, integration, regression, and API testing across backend and frontend systems.
- Validate SWIFT message formats (MT/MX) and ensure payment gateway integration accuracy and compliance.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand system architecture and business requirements.
- Perform end-to-end testing of payment transaction flows, including reconciliation, settlement, and processing.
- Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards from project inception.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6-10 years of hands-on QA and testing experience with strong exposure to SWIFT messaging protocols (MT/MX) and Payment Gateway platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
- Solid understanding of financial transaction processing systems and workflows.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and Agile environments.
