Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager in Deloitte’s Cybersecurity team, your responsibilities include:
1. SOAR Platform Development & Automation
- Develop and optimize automation playbooks using Palo Alto XSOAR.
- Create custom integrations with third-party tools using Python for seamless automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SOAR playbooks and integrations.
- Maintain and enhance the SOAR platform infrastructure, including configuration, upgrades, and data management.
2. Cybersecurity Operations
- Ensure the high availability of SOAR services and manage the underlying infrastructure.
- Work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment to ensure continuous monitoring and incident response.
- Collaborate with teams to improve cybersecurity resilience through innovative solutions and playbook development.
3. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, aiming to exceed client expectations.
- Provide expert advice on cybersecurity risk management and automation best practices.
- Guide clients in leveraging SOAR tools to improve their cybersecurity posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
Technical Skills
- Proven experience with SOAR tools (experience with Palo Alto XSOAR preferred).
- Strong Python skills for automation scripting and custom integration development.
- Hands-on experience in SOAR platform administration, including health monitoring, performance tuning, and backup/restore.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and the ability to design robust automation solutions.
Desired Certifications
- CISSP, GSEC, CISM, or any SOAR-specific certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR Certification) are highly desirable.
Educational Background
- A B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a Tier 1/2 institution.
