Key Responsibilities

• XSIAM Migration: Lead the migration of IBM QRadar SIEM and other security tools to Palo Alto Networks XSIAM, ensuring smooth data migration and platform integration.
• Security Infrastructure Design: Assess current security architecture, data sources, and integration points to ensure compatibility and readiness for migration.
• Integration Implementation: Design and implement integrations between XSIAM and existing security infrastructure, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud platforms.
• Automation & Playbooks: Develop and customize automated workflows, detection rules, and response playbooks within XSIAM to enhance security operations.
• Data Validation & Troubleshooting: Validate data ingestion, alerting, and reporting post-migration. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform configuration and data migration.
• Collaboration & Training: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, network engineers, and key stakeholders. Provide training and documentation for security operations teams on XSIAM usage and management.
• Stay Updated: Continuously stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, Palo Alto Networks product updates, and emerging cybersecurity analytics technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• Cybersecurity Expertise: Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks XSIAM, Cortex, and other SIEM/SOAR technologies.
• Migration Experience: Strong experience in migrating from IBM QRadar to Palo Alto Networks XSIAM.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for developing integrations and automated workflows.
• Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response, threat detection, and log management.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer (PCNSE) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly advantageous.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cloud Security: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, and their integration into XSIAM.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance frameworks like PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
