Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Commerce Projects: Architect, design, and develop customized SAP Hybris e-commerce applications for B2C and B2B platforms.
  • E-commerce Development: Lead the development of high-quality backend and frontend code, ensuring it meets business objectives and adheres to security and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development, QA, release management, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration.
  • System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for SAP Hybris, troubleshoot issues, and implement system improvements.
  • Customization & Configuration: Customize Hybris CMS, e-commerce suite, and Hybris modules to meet specific business needs.
  • Integration: Lead integrations with third-party systems, including payment processors, and ensure smooth e-commerce platform operations.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Identify and resolve production issues, performing detailed debugging and providing long-term solutions.
  • Lead Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and continually seek more effective ways to optimize the e-commerce platform.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

  • 7+ Years of Experience: Extensive experience working on SAP Commerce (Hybris), developing e-commerce solutions for large/global scale platforms.
  • SAP Hybris Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Hybris CMS, Hybris modules (e.g., Product Cockpit, WCMS, OMS), and e-commerce systems.
  • E-commerce Development: Strong experience with B2C/B2B e-commerce solutions, front-end development using Adobe AEM, SOLR, Endeca.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Java, J2EE, RESTful APIs, data modeling, custom integrations, and working with caching systems like EhCache.
  • Problem Solving & Debugging: Advanced skills in troubleshooting, debugging, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for e-commerce platforms.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage project milestones, deliverables, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Tools & Platforms: Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Git, Confluence, and Agile Methodologies.
  • Integration Experience: Experience with payment systems, CDN integrations, social media, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Bazaarvoice).
