Key Responsibilities
As a Scrum Master Manager at Deloitte, you will:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives ensuring Agile best practices.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality engineering projects.
- Remove impediments and obstacles to ensure smooth project progress and team productivity.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership to align project goals and expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize team performance and Agile maturity.
- Manage project risks proactively by identifying, assessing, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and generate progress reports and Agile metrics.
- Mentor, train, and coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and advanced facilitation techniques.
- Implement Agile scaling frameworks like SAFe or LeSS across multiple teams or departments.
- Promote organizational change management to embed Agile culture and practices enterprise-wide.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications mandatory.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead and mentor Agile teams.
- Proficient in Agile tools such as Jira, VersionOne, or similar project management software.
- Expertise in facilitating Scrum events, managing Agile metrics, and coaching Product Owners.
- Knowledge of Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) and enterprise Agile coaching experience.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Business Administration, or related field; advanced certifications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Agile certifications like PMI-ACP, Certified Agile Leader (CAL), Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience with project management tools like Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project.
- Industry-specific knowledge related to engineering or technology sectors.
- Master’s degree or advanced studies in related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, DevOps practices (advantageous but not mandatory).
Working Conditions & Location
- Base location: Bengaluru, India.
- Hybrid work model with occasional travel to client sites or Deloitte offices.
- May require shift work including nights, weekends, or on-call availability for critical incident response.
