🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As an SAP CPI Integration Consultant, you will:
- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot CPI integrations on SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
- Develop integration flows (iFlows) for SAP systems like S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and external non-SAP applications.
- Work with message mapping, Groovy scripting, and XSLT for data transformation.
- Configure adapters including SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Mail, AMQP, etc.
- Handle data format conversions such as JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
- Set up authentication and security artifacts (encryption, decryption, and certificates) on BTP.
- Configure and manage SAP Cloud Connector and API Management policies for secure API exposure.
- Monitor integration services and enable alerting and proactive maintenance.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve issues swiftly.
- Support deployment, operational tasks, and certificate renewals.
🔧 Required Skills & Tools
- Expertise in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and SAP BTP services
- Hands-on experience with:
- Integration adapters: SFSF, IDOC, SFTP, SOAP, HTTP, Mail, ProcessDirect
- Groovy scripts, XSLT, message mappings
- Data transformations and data format handling
- SAP Cloud Connector and API Management
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms
- Strong understanding of integration architecture and monitoring tools
- Experience in issue tracking, UAT support, and agile delivery
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in SAP CPI/BTP integrations
- Prior experience with HR transformation projects is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors integration patterns
- Knowledge of security compliance and certificate lifecycle management
