Role Overview: Workday Integration Manager – HR Transformation
As a Workday Integration Manager at Deloitte, you will lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday integration solutions. You will play a crucial role in solving complex technical challenges, translating business requirements into technical specs, and ensuring seamless integration of Workday HCM and related modules.
You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that improve HR processes and drive organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, build, test, and deployment of Workday integration solutions across various modules including HCM, Absence, Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits, Learning, and Recruiting.
- Develop and document program code adhering to software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues requiring in-depth Workday expertise.
- Translate functional requirements and change requests into detailed technical specifications.
- Debug large components with minimal assistance and support team members in problem-solving.
- Enhance end-user experience through high-quality integration products and services.
- Develop integrations using Cloud Connectors, EIB, CCW, and Studio integrations independently.
- Utilize APIs, XML, XSLT, XPath, and web services technologies (REST, SOAP, WSDL, SSL, PGP, SAML) effectively.
- Manage incident resolution, production support, and warranty-related issues.
- Understand and apply SDLC and Agile methodologies for project delivery.
- Collaborate with business process owners on configuration, security, and integration needs.
- Provide clear communication and presentations to manage client expectations.
- Support change management, quality assurance, and risk mitigation throughout project lifecycle.
Skills & Qualifications
- Certified in Workday Integration or Workday HCM modules (HCM plus at least one: Absence, Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits, Learning, Recruiting).
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Workday integration and functional development.
- Expertise in Workday integration tools: Cloud Connectors, CCW, EIB, Studio, PECI/PICOF.
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, APIs, REST, SOAP, WSDL, SSL, PGP, and SAML protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Workday business process configuration and security.
- Ability to lead integration workstreams independently throughout all project phases.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with client-facing experience.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile project methodologies.
- Self-motivated and able to learn quickly through research and self-training.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, HR, or related field preferred.
Location & Work Model
- Base Location: Delhi CEC with hybrid work model.
- Occasional client site travel as required.
