Key Responsibilities
As a Senior SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and contributing to full-cycle SAP SD implementations (4–6 end-to-end projects minimum)
- Configuring SAP SD modules including Order-to-Cash, Pricing (basic & advanced), Billing, and Credit Management
- Implementing complex business scenarios such as Third-Party Sales, Intercompany Sales, and Intra-company Sales
- Developing and documenting functional specifications, test plans, and process flows
- Performing SAP SD integrations with other modules (MM, FI, etc.)
- Identifying gaps between as-is and to-be business processes
- Supporting client workshops and delivering solution presentations
- Collaborating with offshore/onshore delivery teams to ensure project success
- Providing hands-on leadership and mentoring junior consultants
Required Skills & Tools
To be successful in this SAP SD Consultant role, you’ll need:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration
- Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, pricing routines, and invoice processing
- Knowledge of Indian taxation and compliance in SAP SD processes
- Proficiency in integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, etc.)
- Experience writing functional and configuration documents
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with Indian SAP implementations
- SAP SD certification (preferred)
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments is an added advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel for client engagements as required
