Key Responsibilities
As an OIM Consultant, you will:
- Configure, deploy, and manage Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) solutions for enterprise clients.
- Lead the design and implementation of identity lifecycle management workflows.
- Develop custom connectors and integrations with third-party and internal systems.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical IAM configurations.
- Collaborate with project teams on estimation, planning, and risk management.
- Assist in creating comprehensive documentation and user training materials.
- Stay updated with the latest OIG features, enhancements, and security best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to solution design discussions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
- At least 2 years hands-on experience with Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) or Oracle Identity Manager (OIM).
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or PowerShell for custom development and scripting.
- Good understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in client-facing roles.
- OIG/OIM certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience in delivering IAM solutions to enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, IAM automation, or Privileged Access Management (PAM) is a plus.
