Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain evaluation infrastructure critical to AI projects supporting Google Home and related smart devices.
- Design and implement new evaluation platform features including dialogue handling, context management, and internationalization (i18n).
- Generate training and evaluation data for AI and generative AI systems using crowd-compute methods and automation tools.
- Collaborate with AI teams to accelerate quality improvements and iteration speed for AI systems.
- Stay updated with latest trends in AI, natural language processing, and generative AI to apply best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience in languages such as Python or Java, or 1 year with a Master’s degree.
- Practical knowledge in Machine Learning, AI platforms, infrastructure design, and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++.
- Experience with evaluating natural language systems and generative AI technologies.
- Familiarity with generating training or evaluation data for AI models using generative AI solutions.
